This no bake Fresh Strawberry Pie is easy to make and so delicious – perfect on a hot summer day.

Ingredients
1 frozen 9" deep dish pie crust
4 cups (1 quart) fresh strawberries
1 1/2 cups water
3/4 cup sugar
2 tablespoons corn starch
1 package (3 ounce) strawberry flavored Jello
Whipped cream for topping
Directions
Prepare the pie crust according to package directions and set aside to cool.
Wash, hull and drain strawberries.
Slice berries in half (or thirds if large) and place into cooled pie shell, with the cut side facing down. Fill to a high mound in the center. Set aside.
Combine water, sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture comes to a full boil.
Continue to cook mixture over low heat for 2 minutes until clear and thickened.
Remove from heat and add Jello. Stir until completely disolved.
Pour cooked mixture slowly and evenely over strawberries while still hot.
Chill in the refridgerator for 4 - 6 hours until completely set.
Top with whipped cream.
