There's something so special about these Snaps. Definitely a must have for fall holidays.

Ingredients
2 cups all purpose flour
1 tablespoon ground ginger
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon salt
¾ cup butter or margarine
1 cup sugar
1 egg
¼ cup molasses
Small bowl of granulated sugar for decorating
Directions
Preheat oven to 350
Sift together flour, ginger, baking soda, cinnamon and salt
Cream the butter with a mixer
Gradually add sugar and beat until fluffy
Beat in egg and molasses
Slowly add sifted dry ingredients into creamed mixture and blend well
Using a teaspoon, form the dough into balls, cover with granulated sugar and place on a cookie sheet
Bake for 12 – 15 minutes
