If you like cucumbers and Asian cuisine, you will LOVE this recipe.

2 medium cucumbers
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon white vinegar
2 teaspoons sesame oil
½ teaspoon tabasco (add more if you like it spicy)
¼ teaspoon salt
Stripe cucumbers and cut in half lengthwise.
Scrape out seeds with a spoon then cut into ¼” slices.
Place cucumber slices in a food storage container (with lid).
Mix marinade ingredients and pour over the cucumbers.
Close the top and mix well by shaking.
Place the cucumbers and marinade in the refrigerator, mixing (shaking) every 30 minutes.
After 2 hours, discard the liquid and replace with a fresh batch of marinade, omitting the salt this time.
Wait 30 minutes and serve.
