Amoretti Brothers is a family company of four brothers from Turin, Italy. The company was founded in 2006, with a vision that design and craftsmanship are paramount in creating contemporary products that fill a home with personality, style, tradition and innovation. In 2009, Amoretti Brothers expanded their business and built a facility in Tlalpujahua, Michoacan, Mexico, using only sustainable and recycled materials. This facility is home to their workshop, offices, archives, factory store and living spaces for workers and visitors.

Your Amoretti Brothers copper cookware will last for generations with the proper use and care. Please follow these easy tips to protect your investment and extend the life of your cookware. 

All Amoretti Brothers copper cookware pieces are made with 100% recycled copper and tinned on the cooking surface. All cookware handles are made in cast bronze.

Cleaning:

• Only hand washing your copper cookware is recommended. 
• Hand wash with hot, soapy water and rinse well.
• Always dry your copper cookware with a soft dry cloth prior to storing.
• Do not use abrasive materials (steel wool) or harsh chemicals to clean your cookware.
• Do not use bleach on your copper products.
• Do not clean copper products in the dishwasher.

Care:

• Do not heat empty tin-lined copper cookware or allow it to boil to a dry point.
• Do not add salt to your pan if the water is not completely boiling.
• Avoid using metal cooking utensils with your copper cookware.
• Every few years of usage the tin cooking surface can become thinner and should be re-tinned.
• All Amoretti Brothers copper cookware can be used on gas and electric cook tops and in the oven. Copper cookware does not work on induction cook tops.

Polishing:

The exterior surface of any copper product will naturally tarnish without regular polishing. With easy care, you can quickly restore the shine of your cookware. 

For polishing the exterior, we recommend two options:

1. Use a standard copper polish like Brasso to keep copper from tarnishing and free from white spots.
2. As a natural alternative, you can use a combination of lemon juice and salt to gently clean the exterior. Rinse and wash it with fresh water and it will be spectacular again! 

Always dry your copper cookware with a soft dry cloth prior to storing.
