To extend the life of your wood cutting board, follow these simple instructions.

Care:

Apply an even coat of mineral oil to all surfaces of the cutting board on a monthly basis, using a cloth or paper towel.  Allow the board to absorb the oil by letting it sit overnight.  Wipe off excess the following day.

Never allow liquids to stand on the cutting board – clean up spills immediately. 

Never allow fresh (wet) meats to sit on the board longer than needed.

Always clean the cutting board thoroughly after every use.

Cleaning:

Clean your cutting board by wiping down all surfaces with mild dish soap and hot water. Rinse with clear hot water. Dry thoroughly with a clean cloth. 

Do not use abrasive cleaning chemicals on your cutting board as they may damage the finish.  

Never clean your cutting board in the dishwasher.

Never submerge your cutting board in water.  Wood is porous and will soak up water causing it to crack when it dries.

Sanitizing:

Using a 1:1 ratio of water and white vinegar, dampen a clean cloth with the solution and thoroughly clean all surfaces of the cutting board.  Dry immediately with a clean cloth.

Returns: Returns are accepted within 15 days of delivery.  Please note, we will only accept returns for items in their original condition: new, unused, unwashed, and undamaged in its original packaging with tags still attached.
